for sale , my 1971 Chevrolet chevelle . Still left hand drive owned car for over 4 years . Body and paint is in great condition . Not show car level but still very presentable . Custom gunmetal grey with Saturn black racing stripes with a silver pin stripe , gloss black front and rear bumper with grill and headlight surrounds . Car was painted in the states and is a fairly good job compared to some of the stuff I have seen done over there . Now for the motor.... It's running a near new 505 Ci crate motor with all the good gear dart big m block with 4 bolt mains . Scat rods and crank , Howard's cam , probe forged Pistons , tested port matched and polished pro Comp heads. Custom baffled sump . Engine has only just been run in . It's running 9.1 comp , 6/71 Teflon coated mooney ham blower running 11 psi with 107 octane e85 fuel . Twin e85 referenced Proform 750 dp carbs . Enderle linkage and fuel lines . Has custom pwr radiator , mezerie 55gpm water pump , twin shrouded spal thermos , twin Aeroflow breathers tank catch cans , remote Aeroflow oil filter kit . Has a 65L Aeroflow fuel cell with a A1000 aeromotive fuel pump , gear box is a turbo 400 built to handle 1200hp Aeroflow tranny oil cooler ,, manulised and shift kitted . 8" dominator converter Locks up really well . Custom exhaust system 2/14 primary's to 4"merged collector , 3.5" to the diff . Car made 667 hp atw wheels with 2700ft pound of Tractive effort torque . Ignition system is 6al digital with rev linter set at 7400rpm , msd billet dizzy . Interior is clean , nothing fancy , fairly basic . It has autometer gauges , boost , oil pressure , water temp , fuel gauge and tachometer . New weld magnums . With Mickey Thompson tyres . 295 rear , 3.5" front runners , I have never owned or been in a car that turns so many heads . Thing sounds crazy , has blower surge and a loud blower whine . Brutal power...... Only honest bad point is a tiny amount of rust in the driver quarter panel . Car will need to have a proper rear end put in it , currently running a 10 bolt lsd that was fine with 450 hp on the track running 10.90s but will need a upgrade to be put on a track with this torque and power .
